35 vehicles gifted to CIAA by India

India gifts car to Nepal

35 Vehicles worth Nrs. 33.12 million has been gifted to the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority of Nepal by the Government of India.

The vehicles including five sedans, 15 double door pickup cabs and 15 four wheel drive SUVs were handoverd by the Indian Ambassador Ranjit Rae to the CIAA Chief Commissioner Lok Man Singh Karki in a function organized at the CIAA headquarters in Tangal.

Ambassador Rae stated the society need to help to eradicate the menace of corruption which is responsible for the rending country’s progress and prosperity. India previously had gifted total of 846 vehicles worth Nrs 943.17 million to the security agencies and Election Commission of Nepal.
