Micromax Canvas Fire 5 Review

Today we will review an Android smartphone named Micromax Canvas Fire 5 that was manufactured by the Micromax for the convenience of the mobile users. Selling various types of smartphones, Micromax released Micromax Canvas Fire 5, a smartphone that had dual front facing speaker and earpiece at both top and bottom of the screen.

Talking about the build quality, the Micromax Canvas Fire 5 is also made up of aluminum and plastic. The sides of the device are made up aluminum frame and the rear is made up of a plastic. The rear part is also slightly curved that helps to hold the device easily. Nevertheless, the rear receives a metallic finish which gives the device look premium. However, at the front, the device lacks gorilla glass.

The top of the device’s screen features an earpiece, a front facing camera, different sensors, and a front facing LED light. The device also possesses the capacitive home, recent app and back buttons placed below the display. Moreover, the rear part comprises of  rear facing camera, a LED flashlight and a company branding.

Moreover, the device features a 3.5 mm headphone socket at the top. The device, besides, features a power button and the volume adjusting keys at the right side. The device equips a USB port and a primary mic at the bottom. The SIM card slots and microSD card slots can be noticed beneath the rear panel. The display produces vibrant color and provides good viewing angles. The screen also has bright color and is usable under bright light. However, Micromax could have featured Super AMOLED screen which is visible in Samsung’s J2.

Besides, Micromax markets Micromax Canvas Fire 5 operating with Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. The device features Mediatek MT6580M chipset, Quad-Core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, and Mali-400MP2 GPU. The device comes with 16 GB of internal memory and can be later expanded up to 32 GB. The device, further, comes with 1 GB of RAM.

Similarly, the Micromax Canvas Fire 5 sports 8 MP rear facing camera and single LED flashlight. The rear camera comes with features different modes to capture the pictures and helps to00 shoot HD videos at 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device also is equipped with 5 MP of front facing camera.

Furthermore, the Micromax Canvas Fire 5 is powered up 2500 mAh removable battery. The device lacks fast charging functionality which is seen in many low and mid-ranged smartphones. The battery gives backup for a whole day with full charge. The device is available on gray, gold and silver colors.
