Oppo F3 Plus Review
Oppo is continuously manufacturing and marketing smartphones that are attractive as well as budget friendly. And following the same trend, it released its flagship smartphone, the Oppo F3 Plus on April, 2017. The Oppo F3 Plus can be said as the bigger brother of Oppo F3 which was recently launched on May, 2017. And today we will review the same device.
Just like many devices manufactured by Oppo, the Oppo F3 Plus too looks like Apple’s iPhone 6s. Further, the Oppo F3 Plus too features a metal unibody. The front part of the device too receives 2.5D curved corning gorilla glass 5. And both metal rear and glass is combined in the metal frame.
The Oppo F3 Plus features an earpiece above the screen surrounded by dual front facing camera, sensors and a notification light on each side. Further, the device features capacitive touch home, recent app and back buttons below the screen. The home button also works a fingerprint sensor which responses fast.
Furthermore, the F3 Plus features a secondary mic on the top and the micro USB port on the bottom followed by a primary mic and a 3.5 mm earphone on the right and a mono speaker grille on the left. The device also features the SIM cards and microSD card tray and a power button below it on the right hand side, whereas, the left hand features volume adjusting keys. Besides, the device contains main camera and a LED flashlight at the top-left corner.
Moreover, the Oppo F3 Plus, as it is a bigger version of F3, features 6.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with the resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and ~367 ppi pixels density. The screen is good and produces vibrant, saturated and accurate color. The viewing angles are also perfect from all the sides. Also, the device features light sensor which adjusts the brightness of the screen automatically.
The Oppo ships F3 Plus running with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. However, we are not sure if the device receives nougat update. Further, the device is furnished with Qualcomm MSM8976 Pro Snapdragon 653 chipset, Octa-Core (4 x 1.95 GHz Cortex-A72 and 4 x 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53) CPU and Adreno 503 GPU. Further, the Oppo F3 Plus too comes with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory which can be expanded to 128 GB using a microSD card.
Additionally, the Oppo F3 Plus is boasted with 16 MP, f/1.7 aperture lens, phase detection autofocus, OIS, main camera and is supported by a dual tone LED flashlight. The main camera also possesses features like 1/2.8” sensor size, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR and panorama. And as Oppo focuses in front camera, this device also sports dual 16 MP and 8 MP of front facing camera which allows users to capture self-portraits in two different modes. Further, the screen too lights up while taking self-portraits.
Further, the F3 Plus is stocked with powerful Li-Po 3200 mAh non-removable battery. And unlike other devices, the device is featured with the fast charging functionality which seems good. Speaking in the term of battery, the device possesses good battery which gives backup for more than a day by charging it once. Additionally, the device is available in pink and gold colors.
