Huawei GR3 Review
Today we will be analyzing a smartphone popularly known as Huawei GR3 also known as Huawei Enjoy 5s (with fingerprint sensor) manufactured by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd, a popular multinational company that manufactures network and telecommunications appliances. Following it, Huawei introduced a smartphone called the Huawei GR3 also known as Huawei Enjoy 5s dated back to 2015 December.
The Huawei GR3’s body, unlike other mid-range devices of Huawei like GR5 2017, is made up of aluminum and finished by ceramic-sand-blasting process. However, the device lacks the protection of gorilla glass which is also visible in different Huawei smartphones. Furthermore, the device possesses the same outlook as of other smartphones manufactured by Huawei. The front part of the device features an earpiece on the top of its screen followed by front facing camera, a notification LED light and different sensors. Moreover, the device, just like other devices, receives the capacitive home, recent app and back button featured in the screen.
Furthermore, device obtains the volume alteration keys and a power button below it at its right-hand side. However, we can see that this device too lacks an easy key. The device features a 3.5 mm earphone socket at the top of the body. Furthermore, the device features a microphone, and a micro USB port at the bottom of the device. Besides, the SIM cards slots and microSD card slot can be noticed at the left-hand side of the device. The rear end of the device’s body equips the main facing camera, a LED flashlight, and an active noise cancellation mic followed by the speaker grilles at the bottom.
Coming to the screen, the Huawei GR3 is furnished with 5.0 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and uses its own user interface called EMUI 3.1 Lite. Besides, the screen resolution of the display is 720 x 1280 pixels having ~294 ppi pixels density. The display of the device is good and provides vibrant colors. Besides, the device also features an ambient light sensor.
Moreover, the Huawei GR3 runs Android v5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. Moreover, the device features Mediatek MT6753T chipset. The device also features Octa-Core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-T720MP3 graphic processor. Besides, the Huawei GR3 is equipped with 16 GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM. Moreover, the device features a microSD card which allows us to expand the storage up to 256 GB.
Similarly, the device equips 13 MP, f/2.0 aperture lens, autofocus rear camera and comes with features like geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR. Furthermore, the device obtains 5 MP, 28 mm front facing camera. The rear camera captures videos at 1080p@30fps.
Additionally, we can notice that the Huawei GR3 comes with Li-Ion 3100 mAh removable battery. However, the Huawei GR3, just like many devices of Huawei, lacks fast charging functionality. The battery, on the basis of its capacity, may give nice battery backup. The device also comes having a fingerprint sensor and is available in gold, silver and gray colors.
