Lenovo A2010 Review

Lenovo, a Chinese manufacturer which is popular in the world of laptop and PCs, too started manufacturing and marketing smartphones that were budget-friendly for the people who could not afford high-end smartphones. And giving continuity to the same trend, Lenovo released it’s another smartphone the Lenovo A2010 on 2015, September and we will be reviewing the same device.

The Lenovo A2010, likely to the Lenovo Vibe C, is also completely made out of a plastic. The device, just like other low-end devices, lacks protection of glass in the front part. The rear panel receives a matte finish which makes the device look premium. The device feels easy-to-hold because of the curved back panel.

The Lenovo A2010 acquires an earpiece at the top followed by front facing camera at the topmost bezel. However, the device, like the Lenovo A328, lacks proximity and light sensors. The device, further, features capacitive home, recent app and back buttons at the bottom bezel, however, these keys are not supported by backlit.

The Lenovo A2010 also features a 3.5 mm earphone socket along with the micro USB port at the top. Similarly, we can notice the bottom of the device features primary microphone. However, we can see that the device lacks secondary microphone. Furthermore, the device carries volume keys and power key at the right side. The rear part features a primary camera, a flashlight, a Lenovo branding. Also, we can notice a speaker grille at the rear-bottom. Besides, the SIM card and microSD card slots are placed under the rear panel.

Furthermore, the Lenovo A2010 features 4.5 inches capacitive touchscreen with the resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (~218 ppi pixels density). The color production of the screen is good. Also, the colors are vibrant. However, the viewing angles are not so good. Moreover, as the device lacks an ambient light sensor, users should manually adjust brightness of the screen according to the environment.

Moreover, the Lenovo A2010 is operated with Android 5.1, however, the device is not upgradable to any new software released by Android. Further, the device is functioned by processors like Mediatek MT6735M chipset, Quad-Core 1.0 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and Mali-400MP2 GPU. The device, besides, comes with 8 GB of internal memory which can later be expanded up to 32 GB using a microSD card. Also, the device features 1 GB of RAM.

Additionally, the Lenovo A2010 is furnished with 5 MP of rear facing camera supported by a single LED flashlight. The camera comes with features of geo-tagging and other too. The device also possesses 2 MP of front facing camera. The main camera helps to capture good pictures at daytime, however, the pictures are not so good in lowlight. Also, the rear camera helps to shoot videos at 720 pixels.

The Lenovo A2010, besides, is stocked with Li-Po 2000 mAh removable battery. However the device, just like other low-end smartphones, is not supported by fast charging. Moreover, the device possesses good battery as it gives backup for 5 to 6 hours without any problem. Further, the device is available in black and pearl white colors.
