Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus Review

Today we will be evaluating Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus, an Android smartphone manufactured and traded by Micromax, an Indian mobile manufacturer. Micromax has manufactured various types of smartphones and giving continuity to this process Micromax manufactured first cheap smartphone named Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus that featured Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

The Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus, because it lies in the low-end range smartphones like InFocus Bingo 20 and many more, is completely made up of a plastic. The sides of the device are made up metal and the rear is made up of plastic, however, it receives a metallic finish which gives the device a premium look. The device, however, lacks gorilla glass at front.

The top of the device’s screen features an earpiece, a front facing camera, different sensors, and a notification LED light. We also can see that the capacitive home, recent app and back buttons are placed below the display. Moreover, the rear part comprises of  rear facing camera, a LED flashlight, speaker grille and a company branding.

Moreover, the device features a 3.5 mm headphone socket and a micro USB port at the top. The device, besides, features a power button and the volume adjusting keys at the right side. We can notice a primary mic at the bottom. The SIM card slots and microSD card slots can be noticed beneath the rear panel.

Furthermore, the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus is furnished with 4.7 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 480 x 854 pixels resolution with ~196 ppi pixels density display screen. The device also equips up corning gorilla glass 3. The color production is average and viewing angles are not so attractive. The screen is bright and can be used under bright lights.

Besides, Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and is the cheapest smartphone to feature the particular software. Further, the device features Mediatek MT6580M chipset, Quad-Core 1.3 GHz Cortex-A7 CPU, and Mali-400MP2 GPU. The device comes with 8 GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM.  It also features a microSD card slot which allows users to expand the storage up to 32 GB.

Similarly, the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus carries 5 MP rear facing camera supported by single LED flashlight. The rear camera is able to shoot HD videos at 1280 x 720 pixels. The device, furthermore, comes with 2 MP of front facing camera.

Furthermore, the Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus is equipped by 2000 mAh emovable battery. The device, nevertheless, lacks fast charging functionality. The battery is good and gives backup for a whole day with full charge and normal usage. The device is available on gray, copper gold and champagne gold colors.
