New Dashain Song Sait ko Tika by Gobinda Baniya and Gita Devi

Sait ko Tika is a new Nepali Dashian song by Gobinda Baniya and Gita Devi. The music video features Laxman, Shital, Saru and Rama. The song is released on occasion of the biggest festival of Nepal ‘Dashain’ which is directed by Milan Shrestha and edited by Sangit Baniya. The cinematography is done by Sagar Gautam.

The lyrics for the song was written by Ranjana Adhikari and the music for this song was also composed by Santosh Raj Giri. Sait ko Tika music video represents the agony of the youth who went abroad for employment and unable to join their family in festivals and happy moments. The music video features talented Nepali artists Laxman, Shital, Saru and Rama. The music video is based on the Nepal’s biggest festival ‘Bada Dashain’. Thus, Dashain is celebrated for this victory over the demon. Goddess Durga is considered as the goddess of power and justice. It has its unique ways of celebration. It is probably the longest festival in Nepal that lasts for fifteen days and is celebrated not only throughout the country but also in some other countries where Hindus have been living.
