Chhoddeu Jagir is a new Nepali Dashian song by Chandra Sharma and Shakuntala Thapa. The music video features Dhurba and Sarika. The song is released on occasion of the biggest festival of Nepal ‘Dashain’ which is directed by Shankar BC and edited by Nabin Gharti Magar.

The lyrics for the song was written by Ramesh BG and the music for this song was composed by Subash KC and Harish Chandra Poudel. The music video features talented Nepali artists Dhurba and Sarika. They both are famous and loved artists. The music video is based on the Nepal’s biggest festival ‘Bada Dashain’. Dashain is the national festival of Nepal. Dashain symbolizes the victory of gods over demons and victory of good over the evil. According to Hindu philosophy, a demon called ‘Maishasura’ was killed by goddess Durga and saved everyone from his evils. Thus, Dashain is celebrated for this victory over the demon.
