Folk Singer Manju Mahat died today

Popular Nepali folk singer Manju Mahat died today at Grandy International Hospital, Kathmandu. Mahat was immediately taken to Manmohan Memorial Hospital after her scooty was hit by a micro-bus when she was on the way to recording studio. As her condition was critical she was referred to Grandy International Hospital for treatment. It was yesterday when we were informed she was in coma after cutting off her leg at Grandy International Hospital and she is no more today.

Manju was involved in Nepali Music since long as her recent song “Padhyo Padhyo Path Hajur Sorha Duna Aath” with famous singer Pashupati Sharma is still hot in the market. We hope her soul rest in Peace and God give strength to her family in this heartfelt moment.
